Lay Summary: The aim of the CALM study (Cohort Network for Adolescents and Youth with Multiple Mental Health Conditions) is to follow youth (ages 11-24) who are seeking or receiving mental health services at CHEO. The goal is to gather information about the effects of having multiple mental health conditions in order to enhance care.
The research tasks for this study will be conducted over time and may include:
-Interviews about your mental health history
-Psychological questionnaires
-Fasting bloodwork and saliva test to see how genes affect mental health
-Physical assessments to measure your height and weight
-Brain imaging to look at the structure of your brain
-Cognitive tests to learn about your thinking and information processing
